What shoes with skinny pants? It is winter!?

So I have those tight pants. They are tight everywhere, including at the ankle. What shoes go with them? Of course, I cannot wear flip flops or other summer shoes. I do not want to freeze. I know I can wear heels, but is there something a bit more casual I can wear with these pants?

I would do a mid leg boot over the jeans. Brown is really in right now so i would go with a brown boot; that would look really hot. Check out the look at the link below.

Reply:Wear some boots over them (not necessarily snow boots), but they could be either heeled or flat, leather (fake or real) or suede, etc.
