I have this semi-formal event (no jeans) and I need expert advice on color combination.
Most likely going to be wearing a Tan leather jacket.
Pants - Dark Grey dress pants or Khakhis?
Shoes - Black dress shoes or Brown Casuals(btw the color is close to the jacket, is that good or bad)?
Shirt - Black or Blue/White stripes? or you just name one
or if you think none of those pants/shoes goes with the jacket and have a better idea, let me know!
Color combination for Tan leather jacket? shirt, pants, shoes..help!?
I disagree. Tan jackets are very nice and when you match them well, you can look really hot in them. Jacket ans shoe combination is great, you should keep that. I would wear a plain white shirt so you dont look like you over tried to get dree. Also, try wearing the shirt inside your pants and put on a belt that matches the shoes and the jacket. I wouldn't wear kahkis...try the grey pants or maybe darker brown pants. Good luck!
Reply:My answer would depend on your coloring.
But assuming your hair is darker than the color of the jacket, I think you should would wear khakis, black shirt and brown shoes.
Reply:i wouldn't go with either of the shirts, too tacky to go with a tan jacket. IF you can, switch to a black jacket, tan is so hard to match up with khaki or black. I would go with black if you had a black jacket 4 shoes, but if not, then wear the brown ones(yes it is fine if it matches, that is the point.) If you are going with black jacket and black shoes, then go with the brown pants, it'll make it look casual, but semi-formal at the same time.
Reply:Wear the shoes that match the jacket
