Shoes to wear with Skinny Jeans???

I have a pair of Dark wash skinny jeans, that bunch up at the bottom b/c I am short (5'3")...





What should I wear them with? Both the top and shoes? I want to have a casual weekend look but a little chic. Not too young looking, so no strappy tops, etc. I was thinking some sort of longer sweater and flats? Thanks!

Reply:I love skinny jeans with ballet flats. Not plain ballet flats, but some with hardware or some kind of jewel on them (but not gawdy). Or pair them with pointy boots or heels. They look good with almost any type of shoe that I've mentioned. As for the top, I would go with a longer tank and layer with a sweater or a cardigan. Or you could wear a silky, flowy, printed cami with a cardigan. A long v-neck sweater would look really cute, too. And you could wear a belt around the sweater, low on your hips.

Reply:people make skinny jeans out to be some big deal. truthfully treat skinny jeans the same as you would with and pair of jeans. because there is not "right way" to wear them you can not go wrong. just look confident and marginally comfortable the world is your oyster!

Reply:girl i looove skinny jeans and have a bazillion pairs as for shoes stick with flats or heels and the occasional converse ohh and boots too would work!! tops are pretty easy u could go with something longish and flowy thats what i would reccomend i like the idea of a long sweater good luck hon
Reply:Tunics are nice. You can also wear a long hoodie with a cami. Since you're short and the pants bunch up, quash the flats and go for the boots (ankle or mid calf are better for your height).

Reply:If the Jeans fit you long, then you should get heels. not big heels but a size you think you can handle. Then again, if you're not into heels, flats would be really nice too.





For your top, you can wear like a turtle neck sleeveless sweater kind of top. I can guarantee it would look real nice!!

Reply:i wear flats with mine and im 5'3 also. If you are dressy, i would wear heels. And i dont think boots look right on dark wash jeans or on short people in jeans.
