~~~Sneakers/Skate shoes~~~10 points!?
1) What is your favorite brand of skate shoes? DC, Duffs, Etnies, DVS, Vans, Adio, or other. I am looking for good quality, comfort, style, and cuteness. Tell me what shoes you have tried and what you think of each.
2) Have you ordered from www.Zappos.com? If so, what do you think?
3) I am 15 , 5'6'', and have size 11 feet. How would skate shoes look on me? Would my feet look bigger or smaller, or the same?
4) I dress casual and wear jeans most of the time. Should I buy shoes that are white and blue to match the jeans, so that it matches every outfit? If I bought a pair of shoes that were say, white with pink laces, would they still match everything? Or would they only match with a pink top?
Answer what you can. Thank you!! Best answer will be awarded for most informative.
1) Well, If you are looking for comfort Vans and DC shoes are both really comfortable and so are Adio's. I've never tried DVS but they look comfortable too. Etnies are really comfortable but they are kind of played out, I wouldn't get them. If you want style DC and Adio are your best choices too. I highly recomend DC just because they have style and comfort and those are your best shot too. If you're looking to skate in these shoes I think that you should go with vans though. They're not very fashionable but they're one of the best durrable skate shoes.
2) I've never ordered from Zappos.com but their shoe selection doesn't look too great. I've known people who have ordered from there and I havn't heard any complaints towards Zappos.com all my life.
3) You feet would probably look a tad bit bigger but not in length wise. Most regular tennis shoes slim your feet down, but skate shoes don't. I think that they would look fine on you, I wear size 9 1/2 to 10 and they don't make my feet look any larger than they are, but I really don't have that big of feet. If you bar lace your shoes they would look wider though because your giving the tongue of the shoe more room. I would suggest you bar lace them if you don't skate because most non-skaters who don't bar lace their shoes are often called posers because people think that they don't know how or something.
4) Skate shoes aren't really meant to match, unless you want them to. You'd have to have alot of shoes then if all your clothing had to match a pair of shoes. It really doesn't matter when it comes to matching anyways.
Reply:BLACK CONVERSE CHUCK TAYLOR HIGH TOPS!!!
Reply:1. i have white etnies with a pink e and love them and i like pretty much all of them
2. no i haven't but i would make sure you try the shoes on first before you order them because the sizes might run smaller or bigger
3. i think so but i wouldn't wear skinny jeans because yes they would make your feet look much larger so i would stick to flared jeans
4. i think any kind of white shoe with say lime green laces would match anything..yeah it wouldn't be totally matching with lets say a orange top but it owuld make your style your own and unique
hope i helped and good luck shoe shopping
Reply:1) for skater shoes Etnies, DCS, Duffs, or Vans
2) No. My favorite is famous footwear. Famousfootwear.com
3) Prolly bigger. I don't like chunky shoes (but some ppl do) so I wear pumas or nikes. My sister is 15, size 11, and five seven so she just wears cheap sneakers. I'm not like that I need a good brand. Also if you don't want skater shoes you may try new balance.
4) Pink matches everything in my book, everything besides orange and red. You may like blue better, but really whatever color you like better would be fine.
So yes, try famousfootwear.com then try etnies website and such... I ordered kangaroos off shoes.com about a year or two ago. Great service.
I wish you luck.
p.s. be sure to check name brand websites themselves
..... they usaually have a list of stores near YOU carrying their product. This may help. See what you like. You may even save on shipping. =D
