What shoes could I pair with Bermuda shorts?

I will be vacationing in Mexico in three weeks, and I was wondering what kind of shoes would go best with a pair of bermuda shorts. I want to look casual without looking dumpy. Besides flip flops, what shoes would go well with a pair of shorts?

What shoes could I pair with Bermuda shorts?
Slip on tennsis shoes like vans,kitten heels,sandals,and flip flops.

Reply:There are some really cute mary jane type shoes out there (sketchers has some). The bottom is like a sneaker, but the top has a strap on it. Rugged and cute.

Reply:I have Bermuda shorts right now. Since I'm at work I'm wearing heels with fishnet stockings paired with a cardigan. I say wear peep toe heels or wedges.

Reply:I wore bermuda shorts when I went to the bahamas over the summer and the only thing u dont want to do its to make your bottom look bulky. I wore it with sandals, open toes heels, or different kinds of simple heels or flats. Mexico is hot, so any of those would be fine, plus you don't want to make yourself look you've try too hard. So something plain and classy.

Reply:i wouldn't wear open sandals most of the streets are dirty and you can pick up anything. Go for tennis shoes with low socks so you can protect your feet. It will look fine.
Reply:You said no flip-flops and big tennis shoes would be very clunky for walking around. I would say Keds; they are light on the feet, travel well, endures water fairly well and and are very durable. You could wear those with some ankle socks and be fine!

Reply:the new look is skimmers... like the ones made by keds ... really cute in the ads with Mischa Barton. I have the dolce skimmers and they are really comfy after i broke them in... they give you covering that flips don't for the streets but still are just as kewl.
