Teen Guy Shoes -- Most Versatile Color?

I'm a 16 year old boy, and I am going to be getting some new shoes soon. My question is, which color works with almost any clothing? I have black shoes now, and unless I have a black belt or something, they stink! Is white too blinding without anything else white?





Also, if you have suggestions for specific shoes, please say! I have one casual pair at a time, so I'll be wearing them daily with everything (not for sports or dress, though). I'm not that into 'ghetto' or 'skater' styles (more preppy, I guess), but I'd prefer anything over sneakers/running shoe-type things.

Reply:What about a pair of Converse? I think either red, navy blue, or unbleached white is pretty versatile, since Converse don't necessarily have to match your outfit, but since you are more "preppy" I would go with the unbleached white.

Reply:My brother and my boyfriend both have Adidas Goodyear shoes. You can pick them up at Journey's shoe stores.





They are really stylish. I think they go great with a pair of jeans. And since you can dress up jeans, the shoes can be dressed up a little as well.
