Which shoes would go?

I have a wardrobe issue where shoes are concerned. In the summer, I am fine, because I have a ton on open-toe shoes. However, in the winter, when I have to wear closed-toe shoes, it makes me feel like my shoes are too heavy looking for my outfits. I never know which winter shoes to wear. I seem to wear the same shoes everyday. What shoes would go with a business/casual look if I am wearing black slacks? Also, what shoes, besides tennis shoes, go with dark colored jeans? Help! Give me some links to show me pics of shoes. Any ideas would be much appreciated.

Which shoes would go?
Let ME tell YOU honey, my toes are pretty claustrophobic themselves. They can't STAND winter shoes. So, I try to keep them pretty darn cute to keep my feet happy. Here are some cute ones that you could wear with those jeans...

These are cute, sassy, resonably priced (they're on sale - haha), and brightly colored to add some "pop" to those darker jeans: http://www.payless.com/Catalog/ProductDe...

These are simple, cute, and would also look nice with jeans: http://www.payless.com/Catalog/ProductDe...

Basically, check out your local Payless store. They usually have a selection of every type of shoe at an affordable price, they also have a nice amount of sales. :)

Now, if you want to keep to a tennis shoe type style, check out Puma. They have VERY slender tennis shoes. Their prices might seem high but they are VERY DURABLE. I've had a pair of suede tennis shoes made by Puma for nearly 5 years and they still look almost new. I just bought some suede water protectant and off I went! :) They are WELL worth their price.

Otherwise, Target usually has a wide selection of shoes, as does TJMaxx. Check them out. Ask the clerks at the stores for help too, they probably know much more than most of us on Yahoo! Answers, haha. Well, good luck shoe shopping and I hope I helped at least a little!

PS - If you have a DSW near you, check them out too. I love that store, they always have great shoes (and great sale/clearances). :)
Reply:K honey its time for a lesson in the basics. Black is a neutral color which means you can wear any color of the rainbow in a shoe %26amp; it would match. The same can be said for a blue jean. A look I really love is to have a neutral top %26amp; bottoms %26amp; then adding punch with a red shoe %26amp; other accessories. Pointy toe shoes elongate the legs %26amp; dont make the foot look heavy at all (%26amp; I have HUGE feet). Zappos. Aldos, Payless, %26amp; Target have all sorts of great shoes! Good luck

Reply:The best shoe staple for the winter wardrobe is the basic black mid-calf boot. Boots can be worn with slacks for work, or with jeans for a night out. You can also pair them with a dress or skirt with a pair of fun tights. Stick with a mid heal and a soft square or soft round toe and they will go with anything. The great thing is you can find a great pair of boots anywhere and spend any amount - - from Payless to Nordstroms you are sure to find a pair that fits your style and budget. Also, they last several seasons, so you tuck them away in the summer and bring them back out next fall.
