For my sister's wedding, I recently bought a light blue tea-length dress. What shoes should I wear?

It is casual, but cute nonetheless. Should I go with shoes that are the same color as the dress, or opt for a complementing color such as silver? Also, what style of shoe goes best with knee-length dresses?

Have you gotten a handbag yet? If you have, match your shoes to your handbag.

If you are wearing silver accesories, silver shoes would be nice (but not really shiny silver, lol). If you are going to try to match the shoes to the dress, make sure that the color is the SAME blue, if not, it will look a bit tacky.

Remember it is a wedding, you will be standing for some time: Don't wear 4" heels-A 3 inch heel is perfect for an ocassion such as this one.
Reply:You could wear ballet flats or 2-3 inch heels would be nice. As for colors silver or you could mach it with the color of your dress. I guess it all just depends on what you like. Hope this helps good luck!.
Reply:Never wear a shoe that is darker than your dress. Ever. It will look completely off and wrong. Also, white shoes are not at all in fashion this year. I personally think silver shoes would look the best, because you do not want to look too "matchy". I would go with about a 3 inch heel, nothing with too chunky of a heel, Wedge heels are really in this year. Whatever you wear, just make sure they are comfortable and you can walk in them! Have a great time at the wedding!
Reply:A nice heel, something with straps. Don't wear silver if it's an afternoon wedding (I don't know if that's a fashion rule, but I think it looks silly). Bone, navy or matching blue (if it's after Memorial Day, white would be OK)
Reply:High heel -strappy open toed! I think with a shorter dress, you should go with the same colored shoes. You don't want to take away from the dress with a shoe that stands out. You can take your dress to almost any bridal shop and they can match it. Payless has a wedding shoe section now. I believe it is $30 (maybe $35) for the shoes and dying them! They have a book you can choose the colors from.
Reply:Silver is fine or tan/sand/bronze/camel/ gold strappy or peep toe
Reply:Go with either a white or silver pump. The colors will complement the dress beautiful and the style of the shoe will also! Pumps are classic beauty..
Reply:black, open toe, and 2-3 inch high heel. Have fun!
Reply:I would go for a open toed strapy sandle. Either Black or the same blue as the dress but DEFENTILY NOT SILVER.
Reply:white strappy heels
Reply:You could do silver or white. But I think a strappy, sling-back would be the most appropriate. I also think that you could pull off a skin colored shoe. I like to do that with pastel or light colored clothes. It looks very sexy, I think anyways.

2 1/2 inch heel should be good.
Reply:Something with a small heel, strappy, and probably Silver... That's what I would wear.
