What is "business casual"?

I am going to be starting a new job at a new retail store. They said that the dress code is "business casual," with no jeans and no open toed shoes. What does business casual mean? What would be some good outfits?

What is "business casual"?
It's just a little more formal than what you would consider casual and a little more casual than what you would consider business.





i.e. slacks, collared shirts or nice blouses, not too many accessories

Reply:its black pants a dressy type shirt or button down shirt ...kinda like you would wear to church or a fnice dinner like this...
