Shoes for work?

I got a job as a front desk receptionist for a small architectural office. This is my first office job (usually been a waitress), and I know that I have to wear business casual at work. The question I have is, what are the best kind of shoes for business casual?

Shoes for work?
You should ask them what their policy on shoes are because some offices only allow closed toed shoes and some don't really care as long as they are heels. But i would sugegst finding a nice pair of pumps, maybe a white, black and brown pair that you can wear with different outfits. Something like these: http://www.stevemadden.com/item.aspx?id=...

Not necessarily from there. If you want cheap ones you can find some at target. But that general gist.
Reply:Flats, boots or heels are nice, you should probably get them in darker shades mostly black here an option:

Reply:Business casual still means dressed up. I work in a business casual office and still have to wear dress shoes. It does not matter whether they are flats, small heels or high-heels. Please do not wear tennis shoes or loafer type shoes. Will you do alot of walking? If so, make sure you do not buy new shoes the day before you start. BREAK THEM IN! I'm sure you know this being a waitress. Congrats and Good Luck !!!
