Comfortable shoes for bride?

I am having an outdoor wedding in Missouri in August...Talk about HUMID!!! Anyway I want to know is it tacky or stupid to wear the prima crocs or the alice crocs for my shoes instead of the heels and such. I am a bit clumsy and would hate to fall and roll down the hill on my wedding day in my wedding dress. Believe me I will fall I have many many many times! We are having more of a casual wedding if it helps here is the dress that I want. It will be either white or ivory. and my hair will be up. Also what do you think of the dress?

Thank you all ahead of time.

Comfortable shoes for bride?
ballet slippers or flip flops! trust me. no one sees your shoes so be comfortable.
Reply:I too had a midwest wedding in August. I would never even have considered wearing anything but heels. This is your wedding for crying out loud-not a night shift in the maternity ward. Leave the crocs for nurses and kids under the age of 8. There are many lovely low heeled sandals and dressy shoes designed for people who are not comfortable in heels. The dress is lovely, don't ruin it with crocs.

You can search by width and heel height. Plenty of low heel/flat white and silver shoes in wide width.
Reply:Why not sandals?
Reply:How about Keds? I wore them for dancing during my reception, and I just dolled them up by replacing the usual laces with actual lace strips, and I put pearls and rhinestones on them. They were cute!
Reply:The dress is neat! Instead of crocs, might I suggest ballerina slippers? They're just as (if not more) comfy, and they look a lot nicer. Most bridal places will dye them a color if you want, too.

Cheers
Reply:The Alice croc only comes in black, chocolate, grape, peacock (blue), and ruby red. The prima does have pearl.

Have you considered wedding ballet slippers. They say to slip them on after the ceremony to dance at the reception--but my sister wore them for the ceremony, too. I think they are classier than the crocs. Your wedding dress is so feminine and pretty and I think the ballet slippers would go nicely.

Reply:I just wore white flip-flops. A friend of mine sewed beads and white flowers on them. I know that sounds tacky but they turned out really cute and of course comfortable.
Reply:I don't know about crocs, I'm not crazy about the plastic-ness of them personally. What about regular ballet flats? Thats what I'm considering.

Also, what color would you wear them in? Prima comes in white, alice does not.

BTW, lovely dress.
Reply:Such a beautiful dress! I agree that ballet flats would look nice. Have you seen the Sassari crocs? omg, I love these!! I'm not great in heels, but these are the best.
Reply:Please, please, please don't tacky up this beautiful dress with crocs or flip-flops either. Follow the advice of several others and get ballet slippers. You can get them in leather or satin and don't get them at the discount store. Once you put a pair of Capezios on your feet you will rue the day you ever thought crocs were comfortable. These will keep your ensemble elegant, as it should be.
