Corduroys with black shoes?

I made the mistake of leaving my brown dress shoes at home over winter break. I didn't realize it until now because I have a lunch meeting tomorrow where business casual would be the appropriate attire.

Would I be shooting myself in the foot if I wore Lighter brown corduroys with black dress shoes?

I am also kinda limited to a yellow or strawberry polo or a stripped blue and white dress shirt.

Any suggestions (I'll buy a new pair of pants if necessary.)

Go with the stripped blue and white dress shirt with a new pair of black dress pants and wear the black shoes.
Reply:The striped blue dress shirt and a pair of black dress pants wouls look very classy and casual. y the way, if you're willing to buy pants why wont you just buy new shoes??
Reply:NO CORDUROYS!
Reply:no problem yellow will go OK and black generally goes with everything now if you only had tennis shoes that would be different lol but dress shoes will work fine %26gt;%26gt;%26gt;%26gt;%26gt;%26gt;%26gt;%26gt;%26gt;%26gt;
Reply:I think you'll be fine. What are the chances you brought a black belt and/or jacket with you? That would certainly bring the whole look together.

The lighter brown pants should work fine with the black shoes (the reverse would be problematic!). I'd probably pick the blue shirt.
Reply:I think you can get away with it if you put on a black belt.
