I would avoid sneakers if you can, unless they are the low profile kind - in my (albeit limited) experience, not a lot of Europeans wear the big gym shoes we do, which makes you stand out like a tourist. I'd go for some cute Clarks or Indigoes - both are extremely comfortable and made of good quality leather and have cute stitching. Have fun!
Reply:how about keds
Reply:payless shoes with the cool cartoons on em. pokemon is best since they are in high demand and in style.
Reply:I would say Nike or Reebok.
Reply:COMFORTABLE, BROKEN IN SHOES! Don't bring new pair of shoes, you risk having to break them in on vacation and that can be a miserable experience. and you can't correct it with another new pair. Having said that you still have enough time to get some and break them in. I would highly recommend a pair of Birkenstocks, many styles to suit your fancy...once broken in, which is relatively easy, they fit your feet like a glove and are Oh So European Looking! Have a great visit, Europes a wonderful destination. http://birkenstockusa.com
Reply:When I travelled in Europe last fall, my shoes were a great pair of Dr Scholl's leather slipons. They went with everything, were easy to get on and off, and looked just fine with skirts and pants. You really want something with great support.
